Our Kensington Pride mangoes taste of summer. Kensington Pride (AKA the KP / Bowen / Bowen Special variety) is one the tastiest and juiciest mango varieties available in Australia. The mango season spreads southward from September through to February. Freezing these beauties means we now get to enjoy them all year round.
Mango is a low calorie fruit that is high in fibre. 200g of ripe mango provides you with up to three times your recommended daily intake of Vitamins A and C. They also contain vitamin E, B6, folate iron, zinc and a little calcium. Now that's a healthy treat!
PERFECT FOR: Mango smoothies, lassis, sorbet, frozen yogurt. Seems rude not to mention daiquiris again too.
